Algarve Pro Racing’s European Le Mans Series LMP2 Pro-Am Championship-winning trio are set to continue racing together in the 2026-27 Asian Le Mans Series season.

Confirmed on Monday, Michael Jensen, Enzo Trulli and Malthe Jakobsen will be drivers in the team’s No. 25 Oreca 07 Gibson for the three-event, six-round winter European season.

Jensen, the squad’s designated FIA Bronze-rated driver, is coming off previous Asian Le Mans success with the Stewart and Samantha Cox-led operation, having won the LMP2 title in 2024-25, while also earning the 2024 ELMS LMP3 championship before his most recent title-winning European campaign.

Porsche Motorsport Asia Pacific Selected Driver Trulli, meanwhile, will be seeking a second consecutive championship in his debut season of LMP2 competition while Jakobsen, whois targeting a record fourth consecutive Asian Le Mans Series overall title after taking LMP2 titles with Algarve Pro Racing-entered cars for the past three seasons.

The team will field a total of three LMP2 entries in the season, which kicks off at Paul Ricard on Nov. 13-15.

The campaign follows a historic season for APR, having secured the 2025-26 Asian LMP2 title, the season-long IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship crown and Michelin Endurance Cup with its CrowdStrike-backed entry, together with major class wins at the Rolex 24 at Daytona, Motul Petit Le Mans and the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

In all, the year has seen nine race and class wins for the team, with a further 14 podium appearances across Europe, Asia and North America.

That total included a 1-2-3 finish overall for the team at Dubai in January.

“2026 has been an amazing year for the whole team, in Asia, in Europe and in the USA, with four major championship titles and huge endurance race wins at Le Mans, Daytona and Road Atlanta,” said Stewart Cox.

“The whole team, though, is still hungry for more, and we’re carrying forward into the Asian Le Mans Series with three cars again, all with excellent driver lineups. Announcing the first as a trio of reigning ELMS champions is excellent.

“We want that seventh title win, and we will be bringing three crews that can help us to get it.”
