Logan Adams was crowned a double Mustang Cup USA champion this weekend at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta, claiming both the Miles and Parnelli Cup championships.
The Capaldi Racing driver finished second in Saturday’s Miles Cup race to Kale Buhl, which was enough for Adams to take the Dark Horse title.
On Sunday, Adams led the Parnelli Cup race flag-to-flag to take his fifth win out of six races in the Cup.
“It’s been an unbelievable season,” said Adams. “It’s incredible to bring home both the Miles Cup and Parnelli Cup championships.
“A huge thank you to Capaldi Racing for giving me an amazing Mustang Dark Horse R all season, and congratulations to Craig for earning both Dark Horse Legends championships.”
In Dark Horse Legends, Craig Capaldi became the first back-to-back series champoin, winning his second Miles Cup championship and his first Parnelli Cup championship.
Both titles were clinched last time out at Road America.
Steve Luca and David Luaces, meanwhile, claimed DHL class victories over the weekend in their respective races.
Both drivers were in a race-long battle for top class honors, with Luca finishing less than two seconds ahead of the Birdhouse Racing driver on Saturday to score his second class win of the season.
On Sunday, Luaces started from pole and defended against challenges from Capaldi throughout the race to claim his first series win.
Capaldi Racing, however, picked up all four of the available championship titles.
“I’m so happy for the team,” said Craig Capaldi. To bring home all four drivers championships is an incredible accomplishment, and it wouldn’t have been possible without the hard work of everyone at Capaldi Racing.
“Congratulations to [Logan] Adams on his success this season in the Dark Horse class; I’m very proud of him.”
