Miami Make-Up Race Set for Road America Weekend

Porsche Motorsport North America has confirmed that it will make up the canceled second Porsche Carrera Cup North America race from Miami in the upcoming event at Road America, in what will become a triple-header weekend for the IMSA-sanctioned single-make series.

Race 2 from the Miami International Autodrome, originally scheduled for May 3, was canceled due to a schedule change for Formula 1 because of forecasted weather, which resulted in F1’s race being moved up earlier in the day.

The rescheduled race will now run on Sat. Aug. 1 at 8:50 a.m. CST, following the two regular Road America rounds on Friday.

Only the drivers that were entered for the Miami weekend will be eligible to take part in the 40-minute make-up race.

All three races will be streamed live on Peacock as well as Porsche Motorsport North America and IMSA’s YouTube channels.
