RS1 made a clean sweep of victories in the Pirelli GT4 America weekend at Sebring, snatching the Race 2 win after a successful pit stop undercut.

Spencer Pumpelly took the checkered flag in his No. 028 Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport, taking a third consecutive Silver class victory of the season with his co-driver Luca Mars.

The RS1 squad finished with a healthy lead of 3.487 seconds ahead of fellow title rivals Tyler Gonzalez and Westin Workman in the No. 68 Toyota GR Supra GT4 EVO2.

RS1 extended its lead in the Silver class championship to 13 points over the No. 68 RAFA car.

The No. 94 Random Vandals Racing BMW M4 GT4 EVO took top honors in the Pro-Am class and a third place finish overall after Sam Craven overtook Nolasport’s Porsche in the final ten minutes of the race.

This marked Random Vandals’ fourth consecutive class win this season.

The No. 47 Nolasport machine had led from pole position as FIA Gold-rated driver Matheus Leist edged out a gap on Gonzalez in the RAFA Toyota during his starting stint.

The RS1 Porsche pitted as the pit window opened, while the rest of the frontrunners decided to stay on track.

This proved to be the winning strategy as Pumpelly in the RS1 car was able to undercut both the No. 68 Toyota and Nolasport’s entry when they were in the pits.

Nolasport decided to pit at the latest possible opportunity, but ended up surrendering the lead. Matt Travis emerged from the pits in second, but lost ground to both Workman and Kenton Koch in the No. 94 BMW to eventually finish in fourth.

The No. 33 Blackdog Racing McLaren Artura GT4 rounded out the top five thanks to a rapid first stint for Michael Cooper.

Brothers Alex and Michael Garcia took the Am class victory in the No. 21 ACI Motorsports BMW after a successful undercut which mirrored RS1’s strategy.

The 60-minute race was largely uninterrupted aside from an early full-course yellow period for contact between the No. 48 McCumbee McAleer Racing Ford Mustang GT4 of Jenson Altzman and the No. 51 Auto Technic Racing BMW of Francis Selldorff.

Selldorff and his teammate Kevin Boehm took a second place overall in Race 1 on Friday, but could not repeat this feat on Saturday afternoon.
