Dennis Lind and Marc Miller have scored overall poles for this weekend’s pair of Lamborghini Super Trofeo North America races at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca, with both qualifying sessions red-flagged for incidents.

Former Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe champion Lind, in his series debut, stormed to a best lap of 1:22.437 in his No. 29 TR3 Racing Lamborghini Huracan Super Trofeo EVO2 to edge out XONINE Racing’s Will Bamber by 0.127 seconds.

Defending Pro class champion Hampus Ericsson was third in the No. 1 Wayne Taylor Racing entry.

The 15-minute Q1 session was cut short by five minutes to go when Ian Porter in the Pro-Am class No. 81 RAFA Racing Team Lamborghini went off in Turn 2.

Pro-Am class pole honors for Race 1 went to Joel Miller in the No. 36 Kaizen Autosport entry, while Sean McAuliffe and Ray Shahi took pole positions in the Am and LB Cup categories, respectively.

Q2 also came to an early end when Shahi went off course in Turn 11 with five minutes remaining.

Miller’s 1:23.065 in the Pro-Am-entered No. 41 WTR Lamborghini was 0.067 seconds quicker than Lind’s co-driver and current Pro class co-points leader Elias De La Torre in the TR3 entry, which will start second overall.

Nick Persing, Jayden Conwright and Brandon Gdovic completed the overall top-five in Q2.

David Staab, of Precision Performance Motorsports, took Am class pole for Sunday’s race, while Forty7 Motorsports’ Chris Tasca will start on LB Cup pole for Race 2.

Race 1 of the weekend gets underway at 4:30 p.m. PST (7:30 p.m. EST) with live coverage on Peacock as well as IMSA and Lamborghini’s YouTube channels.
