Logan Adams and Kale Buhl each took a victory in the third weekend of Mustang Cup USA at Circuit of The Americas.

On Friday in the Miles Cup race, Adams drove his Capaldi Racing Ford Mustang Dark Horse R to 9.33-second victory over Buhl after taking the lead late in the 40-minute contest.

Harris Levitas completed the Dark Horse class podium, finishing third in his No. 36 TPC Racing entry in the 14-car starting field.

While Craig Capaldi swept the weekend in Dark Horse Legends, picking up wins in both the Miles and Parnelli Cups, it was Buhl who returned to victory lane in Saturday’s race, finishing 3.740 seconds ahead of second-placed Carlton MacFarlane in his McCumbee McAleer Racing entry.

Adams’ No. 86 Capaldi Mustang did not finish the Parnelli Cup race, having lost the lead in the DH standings to Buhl, who has now has a 13-point lead.

Pole position and victory in the Miles Cup, however, has put Adams into the championship lead in the Miles Cup.

Charlie Bosselman, meanwhile, made his debut in the new-for-2026 Mustang Cup Classic category, fielding a Mustang Boss 302S in both Cups.

It was the only car in the class as former MCC entrant Paolo Salvatore elected to race his Dark Horse R he utilizes in Mustang Challenge North America in the DHL class instead this weekend.

Next up for the USAC-sanctioned single-make series is Virginia International Raceway on June 19-21.
