DXDT Racing’s participation in this weekend’s StubHub Monterey SportsCar Championship at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca is in jeopardy following a fire in the team’s transporter.
Team manager Bryan Sellers confirmed to Sportscar365 that the rig, carrying its Chevrolet Corvette Z06 GT3.R and all support equipment, was involved in the blaze this morning on a I-5 north of Bakersfield, Calif., which is believed to have been started by an axle failure.
Sellers said he has no further information at this time.
