Jem Hepworth, Tatiana Calderon, Chloe Chambers and Ian Porter will lead RAFA Racing Team’s two-car effort in Lamborghini Super Trofeo North America, beginning with next week’s season opener at Sebring International Raceway.

Chambers will pair with Porter in one RAFA Racing Team Lamborghini Huracan Super Trofeo EVO2, while Hepworth teams with Calderon in the second entry as the organization continues its presence in one of North America’s most competitive single-make championships.

Chambers is set to return to full-time competition in the U.S. after two race-winning seasons in F1 Academy.

Her first experience with the Lamborghini came during the Sebring test, which she described as an important opportunity to adapt to the car’s unique characteristics.

“It was my first time driving that car,” said Chambers. “I have a decent amount of experience in sports cars, but primarily my experience is in open-wheel cars, so it’s definitely an adjustment.

“I think the Super Trofeo is one of the more raw race cars that you can drive.”

Porter joins the Lamborghini program after winning the Bronze championship in IMSA VP Racing SportsCar Challenge last year, driving the Toyota GR Supra GT4 EVO2.

“I’m excited to get in the Lamborghini,” said Porter. “It’s going to be a massive test because the competition in this championship is extremely strong.”

Hepworth enters the season as the most experienced Lamborghini driver in the RAFA Racing Team lineup after competing with the team in the championship last year.

“The first thing I said when I got in the seat was that it felt like home again,” Hepworth said. “I know the Lamborghini now, and I understand how it likes to be driven.

“It’s not an easy car, but I love driving it.”

Calderon joins the team for her first season in Super Trofeo North America, with previous sports car experience, most notably in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship.

“I’m super excited to join RAFA Racing for the Lamborghini Super Trofeo,” she said.

“The team has clearly shown they are capable of winning, and I’m very happy to have the opportunity to race with a team that has built such an incredible ecosystem for its drivers.”
