Andrea Frassineti will move from Lamborghini to join Tresor Competition for his first full season in GT World Challenge Europe powered by AWS.

The 19-year-old will contest both the Sprint and Endurance Cup seasons at the wheel of an Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo II, in addition to the Italian GT Championship.

Frassineti, a Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe graduate, contested a pair of Endurance Cup rounds with Vincenzo Sospiri Racing this past season and is now set for his first full season in the series.

“Joining Tresor Competition with a program of this level represents a very important step in my career,” said Frassineti.

“We found in them the right choice for 2026, with a complete and well-prepared team that has extensive experience in these championships, proven by the results achieved in recent seasons, and that can guarantee competitiveness and performance across all four series.

“Tackling the GT World Challenge Europe powered by AWS and the Italian Gran Turismo Championship, both Sprint and Endurance, at the same time is a demanding but extremely motivating challenge.

“From the very beginning, I felt trust and a clear vision for my development: now the focus is on working methodically and consistently to grow race by race.”

In previous years, the Tresor organization had its entry operated by Attempto Racing, including for Ricardo Feller and Mattia Drudi’s championship-winning Sprint Cup campaign in 2023.

Saturday’s announcement made no mention about whether or not it will continue with the Arkin Aka-led squad next year, or if it will instead operate as a standalone entry.

“It was my clear intention to include Andrea in the 2026 project,” said team principal Federico Geri.

“Tresor has always believed in young drivers who demonstrate not only speed, but also approach, discipline and the ability to evolve over time. Andrea perfectly reflects these qualities.

“The programme we have defined is very demanding and requires focus, preparation and an appropriate structure, aspects we work on every day.

“I am confident that we will achieve more than a few satisfying results together.”
