TDS Racing has announced that Tobi Lutke will make the switch from Era Motorsport to the French squad for a season-long LMP2 campaign in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship.

The second-year LMP2 driver replaces Stephen Thomas at the wheel of the team’s Oreca 07 Gibson, with Thomas having retired from IMSA competition and is set to pursue a potential European Le Mans Series campaign next year.

Bronze-rated Lutke will be joined for the full season by Mathias Beche, with Silver-rated David Heinemeier Hansson also making the move over from the Kyle Tilley-led team for the Michelin Endurance Cup races.

Alpine FIA World Endurance Championship star Charles Milesi, meanwhile, will complete the lineup for January’s Rolex 24 at Daytona.

It represents an all-new look for the Xavier Combet-led squad, which had Thomas, Mikkel Jensen and Hunter McElrea on board for the last two seasons, which was highlighted by back-to-back class victories at the Battle on the Bricks and Motul Petit Le Mans, en route to Michelin Endurance Cup titles.
