AF Corse Beats IDEC to 4H Barcelona Victory

AF Corse’s Pro-Am squad took a last-lap overall victory in the 4 Hours of Barcelona, with Matthieu Vaxiviere fighting his way past IDEC Sport’s Mathys Jaubert after a late safety car restart.
Vaxiviere, sharing the No. 83 Oreca 07 Gibson with Francois Perrodo and Alessio Rovera, finished 1.187 seconds ahead of Jaubert after storming from fourth to first in the final two laps.
Jaubert, Daniel Juncadella and Jamie Chadwick finished second, with VDS Panis Racing completing the overall podium.
CLX Motorsport took the LMP3 victory with its No. 17 Ligier JS P325 Toyota of Adrien Closmenil, Paul Lanchere and Theodor Jensen.
In LMGT3, Michelle Gatting held off Kessel Racing’s Daniel Serra to secure victory for Iron Dames aboard the No. 85 Porsche 911 GT3 R she shares with Celia Martin and Sarah Bovy.
